Ignition
Rectifier Box for '72-'75 Kawasaki H2 and 1973 H1D |

|
| This
is a newly
manufactured OEM
style ignition rectifier box, made to replace stock units in all
Kawasaki H2 and 1973
Kawasaki H1D motorcycles. Internally, it is a modern copy of the
original units, with the same electrical circuit, and components
superior to the originals. The diodes in this unit are rated to
withstand twice the current and more than double the voltage the
originals could handle. The
housing is hand fabricated from heavy gage 304 stainless steel,
beautifully
finished with a brushed appearance, and designed to fit perfectly on
the original mounting plate. The circuit is sealed in high quality
epoxy potting compound for protection from moisture and vibration. This rectifier unit works like the original units in every way. It can be used with original CDI units or new Lakeland Stockbox CDI units. We will repair or replace this unit, or refund the purchase price (at our option), if it fails to perform properly as a result of defects in materials or workmanship, within two years of the date of purchase. |
| Note that the wires on
this unit have
lengths matching the original 1972 boxes, and are as follows, measured
from potting compound to tip of connector: White, Blue, and Green
bundle-7", Black w/ White band (Ignition Sw)-5", three Green to CD
boxes-one 4.5" and two 5.5",
Black (gnd)-4.5". Also note that the original three contact rubber connector which mated to the three contact connector from the alternator is unavailable at this time. This rectifier unit has three separate bullet connectors which mate to the original alternator connector properly, and require no modification. |
